(ENDED) Review: #CrystalWash – A Whole New Clean #Giveaway (Ends 3/10, US)

Crystal Wash

Disclosure:  I received a free product to review.  All opinions are my own.

As someone who coupons, I have been able to create a stockpile of a variety of different products for pennies or even free. There are lots of things I don’t pay for anymore – toothpaste, cleaning supplies, deodorant, soap (this isn’t my stockpile, but it’s very similar…just not this organized!)

Now enter Crystal Wash. Everyone has to do laundry and, if you’re like me, you go through a ton of big, heavy bottles of detergent every year. Crystal Wash lets you clean you clothes as effectively as laundry detergent without using any of the chemicals, dyes, perfumes or detergents.  And even better – you don’t need to spend money on laundry detergent anymore.  What?!?! *happy dance*

Crystal Wash 2
The key to Crystal Wash is the Bio Ceramics:

Crystal Wash is a new proven technology that will last for up to 1,000 loads of laundry using the power of Bio Ceramics from the earth. These Bio Ceramics were developed using various minerals with very effective antibacterial and anti-oxidant properties. The pH level of laundry water impacts the wash greatly. If the water is overly acidic or alkaline it can damage delicate clothes and fabrics, cause colors to fade and cause clothing to still seem dirty even after washing. Most detergents on the market are a pH level of 6.5 – 9, but they use chemicals to achieve these levels.

    • Deep Cleaning: As Crystal Wash moves around in your laundry machine during a cycle, it changes the chemistry and raises the pH balance of the water. The higher Alkaline water created by Crystal Wash enables dirts and soils to be soaked free naturally.
    • Disinfecting: This process creates a natural Hydrogen Peroxide which disinfects your clothes…killing bacteria and odors.

Crystal Wash 4

We’ve been using Crystal Wash for about a month now and have been very pleased and surprised with its effectiveness. Even workout clothes and things my husband wears when he works in the yard have come out the wash clean and smelling fresh. When I say fresh, I mean there is no odor…none. Just clean. If you like your clothes to have a fragrance, you can still throw in a dryer sheet or scent pellets.  Our clothes had no residue and you know this is so much better for our septic tank! If you or someone in your family has sensitive skin or allergies, Crystal Wash is the answer. No chemicals, no dyes.

So, in my opinion, the coolest thing about Crystal Wash is the recharging part.  After about 30 days (or 30 loads of laundry) the ceramic beads have absorbed about as much as they can and need to be refreshed to be as effective as possible. How do you fix that? Just park them in the sun for the afternoon.  The sun!  I love that!

Now check out the cool things that are coming! Crystal Wash will be able to send a message to your phone to let you know when it’s time to recharge.

Bottom line –

  • Save hundreds of dollars per year
  • Proven to be as effective as laundry detergent
  • Proven to sanitize more effectively than detergent
  • Better for the environment, your skin, and more gentle on fabrics
  • Crystal Wash offers a 60-Day Money Back Guarantee

  1. I love that these are a money saver AND washes clothes with crystals so safer for my body’s skin! What I learned is that about every 30 days they are easy to renew by placing them in the sun!

  2. I learned that Crystal Wash doesn’t use chemicals, dyes, perfumes, or detergents.

  3. I learned that I need this! It doesn’t fade clothes, only needs to be placed in the sun every 30 washes/days to recharge, and is so inexpensive.

  4. Your review is very thorough. It covers all of the topics they address on their webpage. They do have a cost-comparison of average detergent prices versus their product that shows they are about one-sixth the price. I would like to try this. I think I may even intentionally soil some clothes to put it to the test.

  5. I learned that Crystal Wash raises the pH balance of the wash water, in order to render it more alkaline and release dirt from clothes. I am curious about how it works in HE washers, as mine always has that funny smell – I have tried the chemical cleaners made for that but they still didn’t get rid of it completely and I hate the chemicals! Ugh! I would definitely love to try these, if I am chosen as the winner! 🙂

    1. I am also going to start using wool dryer balls (have the yarn, need to roll and felt the balls), to eliminate the use of fabric softener. I am using hypo-allergenic detergent and softeners, so I do not get any fragrance benefits from them – I have been adding essential oils to the wash but I can also scent my dryer balls and eliminate the nasty chemicals 🙂

  6. I learned that Crystal Wash is free of chemicals, dyes, perfumes, & detergents!
