Growing up, I remember going with my parents, sister and brother to tree farm to pick the perfect tree every Christmas. There was always some sort of tractor involved and Mom took lots of pictures. We’d run up and down the rows yelling for Mom and Dad to come see this tree and that tree. Every time we were sure it was “the one”.  As we searched, one of us always had to have an eye on my little brother. He was so good at finding ant piles or walking into branches (our version of “you’ll shoot your eye out!”) or he’d just start following another family and wander away.  Finally, we would narrow down our search to two or three trees. We held our collective breath as the final two were inspected and reexamined by Mom from ALL angles. We knew she’d made her choice when she’d smile and give the nod. We’d all clap and Dad, armed with a small hand saw from the tree farm, would lay down on the ground and cut down our beautiful, perfect tree.  Once he made sure no children had become trapped underneath in the process, he’d drag it to the nearest path on the perimeter of the grove. We’d catch the next trailer that came by and haul our prize out of there and back to the old family station wagon. LovetheCoopers-Graphic1

We’ve all created some pretty amazing memories at holiday time. That’s one of the reasons I’m super excited to see the new movie LOVE THE COOPERS.

LOVE THE COOPERS follows The Cooper clan as four generations of extended family come together for their annual Christmas Eve celebration. As the evening unfolds, a series of unexpected visitors and unlikely events turn the night upside down, leading them all toward a surprising rediscovery of family bonds and the spirit of the holiday.

This is sure to be an awesome film – just have a look at the amazing cast!
