Cost: $10/month includes shipping
Ipsy was created by some of the top beauty bloggers and youtuber beauty girls. Ipsy subscribers receive a Glam Bag makeup bag every month that contains 4-5 deluxe samples and full-size products. If you decide to sign up, I hope you’ll use my referral link. There is currently a wait list that seems to equal about a two-month delay, so get your name on the list as soon as you can. For only $10 a month, this one is hard to pass up!
I was hoping for a summer, beach-y bag of products and really got what I wished for! This clear, hot pink bag is made of a plastic that’s good for the pool or for vacation going through airport security. Ipsy said, “It’s time to be prepped and ready to be the hottest babe on the beach! Whether you’re laying out or catching some waves with your July “Beach Beauty” Glam Bag, we have you covered for this season’s hot weather!”
Disclosure: Ipsy Glam Bags are purchased with my own money. I have not been given any products or compensated for this review.
POPBeauty Pop Crayon in Coral Blush
“These extra-nourishing balms gently bounce onto lips, creating a plumped & pillowy pout and leaving them with luscious, long-lasting colour in a super-smooth texture.”
Wish I’d received the Rose Romance shade like many others did. This is not a good color for me. I do like the popbeauty brand, though, and ipsy generally gets the colors exactly right.
Retail Value: $4.00
BH Cosmetics California Collection Eyeshadow Sample Palette
“This BH Cosmetics makeup palette includes a shade from each of the California Collection palettes: Hollywood, San Francisco, and Malibu.”
These sparkly little beauties are really gorgeous. They’re rich and go on nicely and stayed on all day without creasing. Something I didn’t expect given the heavy pigments. The purple and gold are great with my skin tones – not to mention my affinity for LSU! I’ll be using these often.
Retail Value: $3.00
COOLA Mineral Face SPF 20 Unscented Moisturizer
“Keep the sun and environment at bay with this SPF 20 broad-spectrum UVA/UVB sunscreen; a clear, Titanium Dioxide based formula (for those who are Zinc sensitive) made with 98% natural ingredients. Organic Acai Oil – high in Omegas-3/6/9, Vitamins B1/2/3, plus antioxidant Vitamins C and E – delivers a powerful defense against aging. Organic Sunflower Seed Extract promotes elasticity while organic Linseed Oil, containing Alpha-Linolenic Acids, reduces redness and irritation. The phyto-protector Plankton Extract rejuvenates, as organic Cucumber Extract calms skin.”
This came into my life right after my dermatologist chastised me for not using enough moisturizer and sunscreen. Coola is organic, too. Bonus! It’s very light, definitely unscented and doesn’t burn my eyes like many moisturizers do.
Retail Value: $4.50
Nailtini Nail Lacquer in Mai Tai
“Beach-ready doesn’t stop at your coverup! It goes all the way down to your toes! Nailtini is making sure your toes are nothing less than intoxicating this summer with our seasonal fave shade, Mai Tai. This rich creamy tangerine sunrise is the perfect complement to sandals and sun-kissed skin.”

This isn’t the first Nailtini product I’ve received, but it’s certainly the brightest. Mai Tai is a bright lovely summer shade that will look great at the pool. Come to think of it, this matches the POPbeauty pop crayon I received. Nice…makes sense now.
Retail Value: $13.00
“A high-performance humidity resistant spray that combats frizz by providing a protective barrier against moisture. Weather Proof promises to leave your hairstyles intact, removing any chance of humidity attacking mishaps. “

Yes! A Southern girl staple – a hairspray that helps with humidity. I have especially thick hair that’s prone to frizzing at any moment. The Sexy Hair spray helped me make it through a summer day in Atlanta that ended with rain, and I didn’t look like a poodle. Thumbs up!
Retail Value: $4.00
Overall: The retail value of this month’s bag was pretty good – just over $27.00 Ipsy presents a great value every month as subscribers only pay $10 including shipping. Jump on it, y’all!
