A delicious tropical blend of fruit and cake that is an old fashioned favorite!
Ingredients
- 2 cups sugar
- 3 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 1/2 cup oil
- 3 Large eggs (beaten)
- 2 cups ripe bananas (diced)
- 1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 can crushed pineapple (8 oz.. with juice)
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (pecans, walnuts, your favorite. We like macadamia nuts.)
Note
This recipe came from my grandmother and is so easy to make. The hardest part is peeling the bananas!
I came here from Pinterest to see this recipe. It looks like one my grandmother made, too. I’ll be trying it this weekend!
Awesome! Hope you enjoy it!
