It’s so important to a coffee lover like me to have a fabulous brew that is full-bodied and has a nice, warm roasted flavor. I enjoy coffee every day and will typically have the same thing every day…because that’s what I love. I have been known to keep three (yes, three) different coffee makers on my counter and an electric kettle at the ready for pour-overs.  I don’t hate flavored coffees, but will always pick something without added bells and whistles. I don’t ask for much. I like roasty and deep flavors, rather than floral. I’m from New Orleans where chicory is a way of life. I don’t mind that either, but prefer a less bitter coffee. And please don’t hand me a cup of brown water that tastes like dirt. I guess that should really go without saying…but it happens.

The right coffee is my forever friend. It should make me feel comfortable and warm, like a big hug in a mug.

I’ve recently had the opportunity to try Gold Peak Coffee. Wait, isn’t that the tea people? Yes and still is. But these masters of the steaming cup are also Gold Peak Coffee, formerly Georgia Coffee. With that change, Gold Peak Coffee is now available in new markets!

Gold Peak Coffee

My first cup of Gold Peak Coffee, served to me at a national restaurant, truly reminded me of the cup of coffee I’d like to have at home everyday. The rich flavor wasn’t bitter – full and robust, but not overly so. I always hesitate to order coffee in the evenings at a restaurant as you never know how long the pot has been sitting around. I say 30 minutes to an hour after it’s brewed, it’s pretty much out of its prime. My cup of Gold Peak Coffee was brewed fresh and served alongside my dessert. I could tell by the aroma of coffee that it was something I was going to enjoy. As it turned out, this was the “hug in a mug” I was hoping for!

I was more than happy with Gold Peak Coffee and felt like I was home drinking coffee on my front porch on a Sunday morning…with dessert! Love that feeling. Try a cup of Gold Peak Coffee and discover the taste that brings you home.  Home-brewed taste in every sip, no matter how far from home you are.

Have you tried Gold Peak Coffee? How does a fabulous cup of coffee make you feel?
