My daughter and I are planning a trip to Europe next Spring…it’s all business, of course. She’s working on her thesis and has to do site visits at  summer Olympic cities.  Naturally she didn’t want to go alone, so I am the lucky travel companion!  Neither of us has ever been to Europe and we’re both excited and overwhelmed!  One of the places we’ll see while travelling between cities is the gorgeous coastal gem of Cinque Terre.  I was super happy to find it on this list and now I’m even more excited to be going!

A fairy tale destination that I would add to the list is the breathtaking Mont Saint-Michael in Normandy, France. We’re trying to squeeze this one in, too.   What would you add to the list?

  1. Hello Tracy, I am super-happy for you and your daughter. I’ve “only” been to Italy and England.Loved England, not Italy so much (Italy was a tour, and tours are not for me). Truly, I do wish you both wonderful travels!

  3. Oh wow. These are all so pretty. I would most like to see the killer whales, the Aurora Borealis and then Hawaii and Trinidad and Tobago. Not sure if these are considered “fairy tale” but all beautiful.
