What are the Carefree RV Resorts? Founded in 2005, Carefree is comprised of over 21,000 sites at 79 properties across North America, and still growing. While the majority of its communities are located in Florida, Carefree also has properties in Ontario, Canada as well as Texas, North Carolina, New Jersey, Massachusetts, California and Arizona. At its core, Carefree focuses on providing top-notch service, great value for your dollar and creating communities with a culture of family.

That culture of family extends from our guests and residents, through our on-site management teams all the way to upper management. The Carefree Lifestyle program launched in January 2015 and is unique in the RV and Manufactured Home industry. This Lifestyle program is exclusive to Carefree RV resorts, and really sets it apart from other RV community brands.

What sets it apart? From a wide range of activities, such as shuffleboard, bocce ball, educational lectures, dance classes, technology and foreign language classes, health and wellness expos, affinity groups, fitness and sports clubs, musical events and more, the Carefree RV lifestyle program truly has something for everyone (please note that the exact lifestyle offerings can vary by park.)

The lifestyle is really what sets Carefree RV Resorts apart. For those in or nearing retirement, this is their time to do the things they’ve always wanted to do. Learn how to play the guitar, join the pickleball team, finally take a class on using your new iPad… its all up to you! With our wide range of lifestyle offerings you can be as active as you want to be!

In addition, Carefree offers awesome events, for example every March, Carefree holds the Carefree’s Got Talent in Lakeland Florida. Each park in Florida has the opportunity to participate and the winner of the talent show wins $250 and a ticket to the finale show for the chance to win $5,000. The event is free and includes lunch and drinks. Leading up to the event we also raise money for Disabled American Veterans. Last year we collected over 15K and this year we hope to reach 25K in donations!

Our guests and homeowners want to come together and be social. We will support that by offering events and gatherings that unite us as a community. From coffee hours to an annual party or Fall Festival, we will help bring people together, from the newbies to the long-time homeowners.

Physical
From vacationing families to active adults, Carefree offers a wide range of activities to suit all abilities and backgrounds. We’re not talking just shuffleboard and bird watching (though we may offer that, too). This is about offering exciting opportunities that support active, healthy lifestyles.
