Marvel Studios’ BLACK PANTHER follows T’Challa who, after the death of his father, the King of Wakanda, returns home to the isolated, technologically advanced African nation to succeed to the throne and take his rightful place as king. But when a powerful old enemy reappears, T’Challa’s mettle as king—and Black Panther—is tested when he is drawn into a formidable conflict that puts the fate of Wakanda and the entire world at risk.
Faced with treachery and danger, the young king must rally his allies and release the full power of Black Panther to defeat his foes and secure the safety of his people and their way of life.
You might remember Black Panther from his big screen introduction in Captain America: Civil War. The no nonsense, undecided vote who was a stark contrast to, well, you know, Tony Stark. Sleek and powerful, commanding respect.
This is one black cat that your going to want crossing your path.

Production has begun on Marvel Studios’ ANT-MAN AND THE WASP!
Marvel Studios announced this week that production has begun on Ant-Man and The Wasp, starring Paul Rudd (“Captain America: Civil War,” “The Fundamentals of Caring”), Evangeline Lilly (“The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies,” “Lost”), Michael Peña (“The Martian,” “Fury”) and Academy Award® winner Michael Douglas (“Behind the Candelabra,” “Wall Street”), who all return to the roles they originated in the 2015 box office hit “Ant-Man.” Bobby Cannavale, Judy Greer, Abby Ryder Fortson, Tip “T.I.” Harris and David Dastmalchian also reprise their supporting roles.
The highly-anticipated follow-up welcomes Academy Award® nominees Michelle Pfeiffer and Laurence Fishburne, along with Hannah John-Kamen, Walton Goggins, and Randall Park to the ensemble cast.
“Ant-Man” director Peyton Reed (“Yes Man,” “The Break-Up”) returns to helm Marvel Studios’ action-adventure from a screenplay by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers, Andrew Barrer & Gabriel Ferrari, and Paul Rudd. The film, which opens in U.S. theaters on July 6, 2018, will be filmed in Atlanta and San Francisco.
From the Marvel Cinematic Universe comes Ant-Man and The Wasp, a new chapter featuring heroes with the astonishing ability to shrink. In the aftermath of “Captain America: Civil War,” Scott Lang (Rudd) grapples with the consequences of his choices as both a Super Hero and a father. As he struggles to balance his home life with his responsibilities as Ant-Man, he’s confronted by Hope van Dyne (Lilly) and Dr. Hank Pym (Douglas) with an urgent new mission. Scott must once again put on the suit and learn to fight alongside The Wasp as the team works together to uncover secrets from their past.
Marvel Studios’’ “Ant-Man and The Wasp” is produced by Kevin Feige with Louis D’Esposito, Victoria Alonso, Stephen Broussard, Charles Newirth and Stan Lee serving as executive producers.
The director’s creative brain trust includes Academy Award®-nominated director of photography Dante Spinotti (“L.A. Confidential”), production designer Shepherd Frankel (“Ant-Man”), costume designer Louise Frogley (“Spider-Man: Homecoming”), visuals effects supervisor Stephane Ceretti (“Doctor Strange”) and seven-time Academy Award® nominee, special effects supervisor Dan Sudick (“Captain America: Civil War”).
Marvel Studios’ other epic big-screen adventures include “Iron Man,” “The Incredible Hulk,” “Thor,” “Captain America: The First Avenger,” “Marvel’s The Avengers,” “Guardians of the Galaxy,” “Ant-Man” and the upcoming “Thor: Ragnarok” (November 3, 2017), “Black Panther” (February 16, 2018) and “Avengers: Infinity War” (May 4, 2018).

Growing up, I remember going with my parents, sister and brother to tree farm to pick the perfect tree every Christmas. There was always some sort of tractor involved and Mom took lots of pictures. We’d run up and down the rows yelling for Mom and Dad to come see this tree and that tree. Every time we were sure it was “the one”. As we searched, one of us always had to have an eye on my little brother. He was so good at finding ant piles or walking into branches (our version of “you’ll shoot your eye out!”) or he’d just start following another family and wander away. Finally, we would narrow down our search to two or three trees. We held our collective breath as the final two were inspected and reexamined by Mom from ALL angles. We knew she’d made her choice when she’d smile and give the nod. We’d all clap and Dad, armed with a small hand saw from the tree farm, would lay down on the ground and cut down our beautiful, perfect tree. Once he made sure no children had become trapped underneath in the process, he’d drag it to the nearest path on the perimeter of the grove. We’d catch the next trailer that came by and haul our prize out of there and back to the old family station wagon.
We’ve all created some pretty amazing memories at holiday time. That’s one of the reasons I’m super excited to see the new movie LOVE THE COOPERS.
