The Amazing Burger Round-Up: 16 Fabulous Burgers, Buns and Sauces
|May 22, 2014||Posted by Tracy Knutsen under Holiday, Main Dishes, Try Something New!|
Burgers? Yes, I’m a big fan! We grill year-round…hot, cold, rain, snow, wind, it doesn’t matter. And while there’s nothing like a good ole’ traditional burger, these days the combinations are endless. Even burgers themselves are now made from turkey, veal, chicken, bison, portobello, pork, veggies, elk, lamb, you name it!
Toppings are now elevated to a new level and limited only by the creator’s imagination. My current favorite toppings are things like candied bacon, fried egg, peanut butter, potato chips, onion jam, tator tots, feta and roasted corn (not all at once…wait…hmmm…) If you’re heading out to the grill this weekend, how about trying some of these new twists on our old favorite?
